Introduction to CSC

Common Service Centre (CSC) ek aisa program hai jo Bharat sarkar ke Digital India initiative ke under kaam karta hai. Ye centres rural aur urban areas mein digital services ko accessible banane ke liye banaye gaye hain. CSC ka main purpose hai common citizens, especially rural areas ke logon ko, government aur private services tak easily pahunchana.

CSC Kaise Kaam Karta Hai?

CSC ek public-private partnership (PPP) model par kaam karta hai. Ismein government, private companies, aur local entrepreneurs ek saath collaborate karte hain. Ye centres local level par chote offices ya kiosks ke form mein hote hain, jo VLEs dwara manage kiye jate hain. Har CSC centre ek digital hub ki tarah kaam karta hai, jahan multiple services ek hi jagah par available hoti hain.

CSC Ki Structure

  1. VLE (Village Level Entrepreneur): Ye wo individual hota hai jo CSC centre ko run karta hai. VLE ko training di jati hai taki wo digital tools aur services ko effectively handle kar sake.
  2. CSC SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle): Ye ek entity hai jo CSC program ko monitor aur manage karti hai. Iska full name hai CSC e-Governance Services India Limited, jo Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) ke under kaam karti hai.
  3. Technology Infrastructure: CSC centres mein computers, internet, printers, aur biometric devices jaise tools hote hain, jo services deliver karne ke liye use hote hain.
  4. Service Partners: Government departments, banks, insurance companies, aur private organizations CSC ke saath tie-up karte hain taki unki services citizens tak pahunch sakein.

  2. Registration: VLE ko CSC SPV ke saath register karna hota hai aur training leni hoti hai.
